The New American Campaign’s Red, White & Blue: Time for Citizenship initiative engages airport authorities, seaports, and other ports of entry in promoting citizenship. Our successes include public service announcements and messaging airing at airports, as well as naturalization workshops held at airports and other ports of entry. We also explore opportunities to engage with USCIS and Customs & Border Protection (CBP) with the objective of having them adopt a policy of providing eligible LPRs who arrive at ports of entry, such as airports, with information about the naturalization process, and to motivate them to apply for U.S. citizenship.
